Bannerfall Thursday - The Masqurade

 The masquerade is today! And the monarch election!

I also believe this is officially marks the last week of Bannerfall? I'll be very sad when this ends, but at least I won't have to use twitch anymore.

I am so excited to see everyone's masquerade outfits! 

Pre-Day Predictions

Honestly, not many new things. I want to watch Mae's vod from... 2 days ago before the day actually starts because I need to catch up on her character development. But other than that it's just a mix of things that I already predicted for past days.

I still really want a proper Apo/Cherri/Katie conversation about everything. I think it would really benefit them.

I think there will probably a Nom and 4c meeting now considering he is not really in hiding anymore and has officially joined Red. I'm sure Nom is going to be very chill and understanding (this is sarcasm).

And the new monarchs! Sausage and Graecie!

We already know that Sausage wants to be monarch and has been preparing for his reign for a while now. I think he's literally been actively practicing being a monarch. He is going to send these kingdoms to war again, fully expects to die, and is fine with it.

And Graecie has been butting heads with sausage since the beginning. Also I just really want to see her be queen because I know she'll be so good at it. And I need to see her kill sausage. Kill that guy Graecie!!!!!

Ok I started this really late and the day is starting as I am typing this so I'ma go lock in and watch some bannerfall!

Post-Day Reactions

Today was really fun!!! I loved the masquerade and everyone's fun outfits and masks. Augh I have so many art ideas now. I would love to make some waterlily (graecie/shan) art or possibly an morning after hangover sickfic. The chances of me making either? Very low, but I can dream. The whole thing just made me want to go to an actual masquerade. I loved the dedication to being their titles for the night. The conversations created by the other half mechanics were also so good. Augh.Joyous day!

AND GRAECIE QUEEN. YES. SHE GETS TO KILL SAUSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYYYYY.

Also Kitty is back! And he has cool new armor!! Yeah I just think thats fun.

ALSO! NOT A DRILL! APO DRUNK KISS CHERRI! lets see if she regrets that tomorrow. 

I'm glad that Mae and Katie had that conversation. Miscommunication smp no longer! It made me realize how much Katie has grown over the past months, she's begun to stand up for herself more and take charge. That obviously manifested in her being monarch but I think this conversation also shows hows shes been learning to organize and communicate with people.

I need to re-watch some things tomorrow, I missed a lot of her conversation with Kitty and I want to go back to that. 

I actually didn't watch Nom or 4c's pov, so I'm not actually sure if they had that conversation I predicted. 

And yeah, I think that's kinda it!

 

I was wrong about this marking the last week, Bannerfall ends Monday! That is so soon it's terrifying.

So this is my last Bannerfall Thursday post...

I might do some proper analysis after the finale, might go back and watch some vods. I don't know. I feel like series like these (streaming series) are best when they are going on. I don't really feel the same pull to re-watch things like I do with video only series. I guess I'm kinda scared that I'll forget about this. I love Bannerfall, I really do, but I think that I'll end up drifting away from it. Maybe that's how all things work, this just feels extra painful because it's been a daily presence in my life since February. 

We had a good run. I love Bannerfall, I love the cast, I love the stories they have created. So lets drink to the moments made here.
